Search Engine Clashes In China

Google will have more pressure now as the two search engines are competing for the Chinese market. Baidu—the Chinese search engine—will be launching an ad-supported network.

Clash in these two search engines will affect Search Engine Optimization(SEO). Currently, China’s leading search engine is trying to expand in a market filled with tough competitors.

The new Baidu feature will offer licensed content from top media companies. China is one of the few countries wherein Google is not the top search engine and it has limited growth in the online video market, because of the ban on YouTube by the government.
